Dorset Food Week 2010

Welcome to this years 2010 Dorset food Week, Once again we have invited Dorset Food Producers, retailers, farmers, restaurants and many more venues to join us in showcasing to the whole country what mouth watering products Dorset has to offer.

Farmers will be welcoming people onto their farms to show young and old alike where and how their food is made. there will e a local celebration of food drink including tasting's, markets, demonstrations and much much more! Then not to be left out the local pubs restaurants will be serving local food on their menus in some very creative ways. the weeks celebration war county wide and everyone will be encouraged to explore the delights of the area and find the best Dorset food gems.

We have a NEW weekday chocolate making workshop for both children and adults at Chococo's of Swanage;
Crabbs Bluntshay Farm of Bridport are holding a Farm Walk which encompasses historical and agricultural features.
Watch out for the Magdalen projects Family Grab n' eat day in Chard
enjoy the RSPB Autumn Food Forage near Wareham and don't miss the Bakery tour and demonstrations from Honeybuns in Sherborne.
