We butcher ‘on our farm’ to our customers requirements and process the meat using traditional methods. Cedar Organic
Rempstone Farm, home to Cedar Organic, is a family run farm set in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset. Establishing our farm in September 2007, we started with nothing but a good practical knowledge of organic farming and a lot of enthusiasm. Our herd of Ruby Red North Devon cattle are as beautiful as they sound and we have a fl ock of Lleyn sheep. Our Sasso chickens produce fl avoursome, succulent meat, tasting as chicken used to and our fl ock of hens lay a delicious egg with a deep yellow yolk. During Dorset Food Week we are open on Friday 29th 9am to 7pm, why not come along see some of our livestock or just simply try some of our free samples to see what we really mean when we say you can taste the difference. Autumn Forage Festival at RSPB
Arne Nature Reserve Join the RSPB to celebrate the fruits of the forest and sea at Arne Nature Reserve. The day will include a full programme of events for all the family to include fungus identifi cation walks, foraged foods cooking demonstrations, local produce stalls, bushcraft skills, live music and much more. Wareham Farmers’ Market
This ancient Roman town stands at the head of Poole Harbour between the River Frome and the River Piddle, the old town walls are still visible and during Saxon and Norman times was an important port. It is better known now as a busy, thriving market town much visited by the numerous tourists staying in and around the area.
The Farmers’ Market here is right in the centre of the town and coincides with the popular weekly street market. Although one of our smaller markets it has a loyal customer base.
