Sabins Deli & Catering
Sabins is a Deli, with fresh meals to take away, canapés and outside catering.
The importance of supporting local people and local business is of the highest importance to us. We are blessed, here in Dorset, to be surrounded with so many high quality producers, which means we don’t have to look far when sourcing the majority of the stock for the whole shop – fresh or packaged. Supporting ‘local’ is also about taking responsibility for our environmental impact, which we take very seriously, and is therefore a conscious decision to minimize our supplier routes at every opportunity. The result is we are confident in our claim that much of our produce and ingredients is bought within a 20 mile radius. Cheese is one of the most important parts of Sabins’ appeal. We offer over 50 different varieties, roughly split in half between British and Continental and a broad selection including many sheep’s milk and goat’s milk based products. The UK (and especially the West Country!!) produces fabulous cheese of all varieties but no one can deny that there are some vital ‘Continental classics’ that no cheese seller can live without!
